"The Village of Hazel Crest has formed a close partnership with the SDA to kick start the Village's Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) strategy and other high-priority projects.  To go from concept to execution, we have collaborated to bring in the talent, the real estate investors, and the myriad grants needed to make it happen.  The future Hazel Crest Creative Arts Center—in the TOD District—in particular will be the culmination of the collaboration."

— Vernard L. Alsberry Jr, Village President

Our Municipal Partners

We proudly partner with municipalities like Hazel Crest, Thornton, and Sauk Village to drive local growth and development.

In Thornton, we collaborated with the Village to draft a redevelopment agreement, transforming an abandoned gas station into a multi-use site, which includes a gas station and restaurant.

This project will bring over $1 million in investment and revitalize the downtown area.

In Hazel Crest, SDA partnered with P3 Markets to develop over $25 million in workforce housing near the Metra train station. This TOD project aligns with regional goals and will anchor a future arts district, sparking community-wide revitalization.
