ACHIEVE Summit Coverage Reaches National Audience
The momentum from ACHIEVE 2026 continues.
Coverage of the Southland Development Authority’s (SDA) second annual ACHIEVE Summit, originally published by the Daily Southtown, has now been syndicated by Yahoo Finance, helping bring the story of Southland entrepreneurship, investment, and economic development to a national audience.
ACHIEVE 2026, which was held June 4-6 at Wind Creek Chicago Southland, brought together entrepreneurs, investors, lenders, business owners, developers, and community leaders for three days of networking, learning, and deal-making focused on the future of the Southland.
The article highlights SDA CEO Bo Kemp’s vision for building a stronger regional economy through connection and collaboration.
Kemp told reporters: “We want to create an event that encourages people from the entire Chicagoland region, but frankly, all over the Midwest and the nation, to come here and get a chance to show them all of the assets that are here, all of the reasons why they should build a business here, buy real estate here.”
ACHIEVE connected aspiring business owners with resources and capital and recognized entrepreneurs like Laura Miranda of Queens of Clean. Miranda received ACHIEVE Awards for Change-Making and Excellence in Customer Service.
While the article began as a local story, its syndication really shows why the Southland’s story is one worth telling.
“All of that community is necessary to actually drive the engine of growth here in the Southland,” Kemp also said.
