South Holland’s W.D.P. Creative Collective Space Featured in Daily Southtown
South Holland’s newest creative hub is already making headlines.
The Daily Southtown recently did a write-up on W.D.P. Creative Collective Space. It’s a new production facility designed to give entrepreneurs, podcasters, filmmakers, artists and content creators alike the access to professional-grade recording studios. And podcast spaces. And creative workspaces in general - all close to home.
Founder Nsenga Wilson said she created the space after seeing firsthand the need for affordable, high-quality production facilities in the Southland, with a mission to help local creatives build their businesses without leaving their communities.
The article also recognizes the Southland Development Authority’s (SDA) role in supporting Wilson’s journey. Through business planning assistance, marketing support and networking connections, the SDA has helped W.D.P. Creative Collective Space continue to grow and expand its impact.
“This is a really good example of what’s possible when entrepreneurs have access to the right support and they choose to invest in their own community,” said Marisela Zambrano, SDA Strategic Solutions Director.
